About Omar
Omar Atasi is an actor/singer based in Detroit, Michigan. A confident and commanding stage performer, he has experience in both musical theatre and straight plays. Omar was recently selected as a Sutton Foster award finalist (top 8) out of 700+ eligible performers state wide.
In addition to his work on stage, Omar is also a songwriter and a dynamic jazz and pop vocalist. He serves as the lead vocalist for the Troy Jazz Ensemble and regularly performs at live events, including weddings, engagements, city events, and other special occasions. Omar’s attention to detail, musicality, and authenticity have made him a highly regarded performer throughout the Detroit region.
